Since 2001La Posada en el Potrero Chico

Where you will sleep

Simple, clean and enough

We have been in the same spot next to the canyon since 2001. Here is what there is, said plainly: if something does not suit you, better to know before booking than on arrival.

Sport Camping, adults only

A separate area from the family campground, for people who came to climb and want to sleep. No electricity in the camping area — we say it up front: if you need to charge gear or work online, a room or a house suits you better.

Rooms and houses

From a bunk room to whole houses for a group. All with a bathroom, and the houses with their own space to cook. It is what people who stay the full season pick when they want their own space.

Shared kitchen

A 14-burner industrial stove, four sinks, refrigerators, shared utensils and benches. Built so twenty people can cook at once without getting in each other's way.

Pool, hammocks and fire pit

The pool is open 10 am to 8 pm. The fire pit is lit for whoever wants to join and goes out at midnight. Firewood is sold at reception.

La Tradición restaurant

On the same grounds, 7:30 am to 9:30 pm, bar until 10. You do not have to leave the canyon to eat well after a day on the wall.

The rules, up front

Quiet hours Sunday to Thursday 10:30 pm to 7 am, Friday and Saturday midnight to 8 am. No speakers; acoustic guitars are fine. The gate closes at 9 pm and opens at 7 am. Check-in at 2 pm, check-out at 12.

The kitchen fills up at the same hour every night.

Lock in your spot

The longer you stay, the lower the rate: up to 50% off camping and 35% off rooms and houses.
